The word from media outlets in the Philippines is that Bobby Pacquiao (27-11-3, 12KOs), the younger brother of Manny, has pulled out from his August 12 bout with Humberto Soto on the undercard of Hasim Rahman vs. Oleg Maskaev in Las Vegas.

It now appears that Pacquiao has agreed to an IBF elimination bout with former super featherweight champion Robbie Peden (25-3-0, 14KOs). The winner to receive a title shot at a later date.
