Oscar Valdez To Step Up, Will Face Dat Nguyen on 4/12

In a follow up to David Greisman's article that ran earlier on BoxingScene.com, we have been advised that Oscar Valdez's (9-0) April 12th opponent will be Dat Nguyen (17-3) who will be a step up in class for the two-time Mexican Olympian. The tight will take place on the off tv portion of the Manny Pacquiao-Tim Bradley undercard. 

Nguyen has been inactive in recent years but has been in the ring with prospects like Orlandito Del Valle and Jayson Velez.
