Manny Pacquiao has put together good crop of sparring partners, including Olympic silver medal winner Amir Khan and undefeated Yuri Foreman, but his opponent Oscar De La Hoya is also getting some known fighters to help him prepare for their December 6 duel at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Hard punching junior welterweight Victor Ortiz, recently signed by De La Hoya' Golden Boy Promotions, is a part of Oscar's camp in Big Bear, California. Ortiz (22-1-1, 17KOs) hits hard and fights from the southpaw stance like Pacquiao. He will appear on the De La Hoya-Pacquiao undercard against Jeffrey Resto.

Richard Schaefer, CEO for Golden Boy, told The Manila Bulletin that De la Hoya isolated himself in camp and is training very hard with new trainer Nacho Beristain to show the world that he is not taking Pacquiao lightly.

"(His training camp is) totally isolated. It is a closed camp which shows you how serious Oscar takes this fight," said Schaefer.
