Oscar Blanquet, one of the hot prospects in México, has recently inked a promotional contract with Canelo Promotions. Blanquet is currently ranked in the top ten by all of the major sanctioning bodies, including the WBC, WBA and IBF - and he has great amateur experience by competing in Puerto Rico and the United States.
As a professional fighter Blanquet has a record of 29-3 with 20 knockouts and he will be part of the amazing boxing card “WAR IN COZUMEL” on September 24 in Isla Cozumel, Quintana Roo. On the same show, José “Sugar” Salgado, Jesús “Zurdo” Jiménez and Daiki Kameda will also see action. The event will take place at the Convention Center
Oscar is the current the WBC Continental champion in the flyweight division.
