The two-time world champion Orlando “Siri” Salido is in Miami this weekend to serve as studio guest commentator for this Saturday night fights that will be televised BeInSports Espanol from Hermosillo, Sonora Mexico.
Salido is a candidate for the fighter of the year, because of his win over Vasyl Lomancheko in San Antonio last March and for the fight of year type battle he had with Terdsak Kokietgym last August in Tijuana when he captured the WBO Super Featherweight belt.
Salido is looking to return to the ring in March of 2015 for his first world title defense of the WBO belt. Some of his possible challengers include Rocky Martinez, Andrey Klimov and Diego Magdaleno among others.
“I never pick my opponents, whoever is next is next. I am just looking to getting back in the ring as soon as I can in 2015,” said Salido.
BeInSports Espanol will be in the air at 11:00 p.m. East/8 p.m. (Pacific) with fights featuring Francisco “Gallo” Estrada and Jackie Nava from Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico
