Ciudad Obregón, Son. Filipino fighter Weng Haya will be the final obstacle of the year for WBO Orlando "Siri" Salido. Salido (26-11-2, 24KOs) faces Haya (14-4, 8KOs) on December 17th in a ten round non-title encounter at the Palenque of Ciudad Obregón. TV Azteca will broadcast the fight.

Salido expects to face Juan Manuel Lopez in a rematch in the first quarter of the year. But there are a lot of other options that Salido is going to review before making a final decision - including possible fights against Mikey Garcia, Rafael Márquez, Daniel Ponce de León, WBC champion Jhonny Gonzalez, WBA champion Celestino Caballero and the man who challenged the Juanma-Salido winner - WBO super bantamweight king Jorge Arce.

"My mind is focused on defeating Weng Haya on Saturday and then we'll see where my promoter takes us. I can not take a second step witout going past the first. I know that there is a lot of talk about a possible rematch against Juan Manuel López, but we are going to to listen to every offer and see which of them is the best for us," Salido said.
