Mexico's Orlando Salido is ready to make the third defense of the title he snatched last April from then unbeaten Juan Manuel Lopez. Salido (38-11-2, 26 KO's) is currently in the process of a three-day promotional tour that includes visits to several different sports programs in Mexico and in the city of Miami, Florida.
"I will return to defend the title on the 21st or 28th of July. I don't know the opponent yet, but those are the tentative dates that they have for me. And it will be in Mexico. I want to continue at 126 pounds. I want to unify. There are good options out there for me and if all goes well, I will go up to 130-pounds afterwards," Salido said.
