Hamburg, Germany - Local middleweight Mahir Oral won the vacant EU 160 lb title with a first round stoppage of Dirk Dzemski after a short but explosive fight that saw both men on the floor. Oral came out fast and scored with jabs and a few right handers. Dzemski, a southpaw, countered with a right-left combination and Oral touched down and was given an eight-count by Spanish referee Jesus Morata Garcia.

As Dzemski came forward looking to follow up, Oral landed with a hard right and Dirk went down on his back. Although he made it up he was hurt and as Oral poured it on, trainer Werner Kirsch threw in the towel just as Mr. Morata Garcia was ready to step in. The time: 1.42. Promoter Ahmet Oener has already began to bang the drum for a possible Oral vs. Felix Sturm clash at the huge Color Line Arena.

On the undercard heavywight Goran Gogic knocked out the much smaller Hungarian veteran Zoltan Beres in the second. Beres, well over the hill as it is, has no business fighting as a heavyweight.

Adnan Serin outscored Vlado Szabo over six in another heavyweight clash.

Arena Box Promotion returns on November 11 with welterweight Alpaslan Aguzum on top. Mahir Oral will also be on the show.
