Lightweight Omar "Pinky" Tello (3-0, 3 KOs) scored a second-round KO over Theodore Walters (0-3) in the main event at the Bayou City Events Center in Houston. In the first round, Tello, 18, ripped a left hook to the ribcage that sank Walters to his knees. Walters came out swinging in the second round and Tello gladly engaged him in the trenches. A left hook to the body followed by a short right to the head put Walters on the canvas for the full count.

Former amateur standout Travell Mazion (4-0, 4 KOs) scored an impressive third-round TKO over veteran Aaron Anderson (2-25, 1 KO) in a junior welterweight bout. Looking like a miniature version of Thomas Hearns, Mazion, 18, scored at will with jabs and one-twos throughout. A left hook to the body dropped Anderson in the third round and the follow-up assault prompted the referee to halt the massacre.

Featherweight Marc Torres, 17, made a successful pro debut by stopping Joe Anthony Narro (0-6) in the third round.

Heavyweight Roberto Silva Jr. (2-0, 2 KOs) stopped Anthonie Robie (0-2).

Featherweight Pablo Cruz (5-0, 2 KOs) won a four-round shutout over Jermichael Neal (0-1-1).
