Welterweight Omar Chávez, son of the legendary Julio Cesar Chavez, is already located in Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, where on Saturday night he collides with Jorge "Maromerito" Paez Jr., the son of another legend of boxing at welterweight.

The first thing Omar said, was that he is convinced that this will be the toughest fight of his career because he never had to face a fighter with the experience and the skills of Paez, who embraced the sport of professional boxing long before him and had a long and brilliant career in amateur boxing, and even belonged to Mexico's National Team.

"I am aware that I will be facing a fighter who is way ahead of me with regards to experience. As an amateur, Paez fought the best in the world, and he displayed a lot of quality as a professional," Chavez said.

Omar is the favorite to win this contest, but refuses to make a prediction and expects a very tough fight. Chavez comes to this fight with a 27-0 record, one draw and 20 wins by knockout, while Paez Jr. has a record of 29-4, with one draw and 18 wins by knockout.
