Former undisputed cruiserweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk is coming for everyone in the heavyweight division.

Usyk made his heavyweight debut last October, when he stopped late replacement Chazz Witherspoon.

At the moment, Usyk is scheduled to face dangerous veteran Derek Chisora on May 23 at The O2 Arena in London.

Usyk is the mandatory challenger to the heavyweight title of the World Boxing Organization - which places him directly in line to fight WBO, IBF, WBA, IBO world champion Anthony Joshua.

Because he was the undefeated WBO champion at cruiserweight, he automatically secured his shot when he made his official announcement to move up in weight.

Joshua will first have to face IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on June 20.

Should both of them win their fights, Usyk plans to pursue his mandatory shot at Joshua.

And if he defeats Joshua, then Usyk would like to secure a showdown with WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, who plans to face Deontay Wilder in a trilogy fight in July.

During his interview with Sky Sports, Usyk was asked if he had a preference for Joshua or Fury, and he answered: "I want to fight both."

"The last thing I think about is who will fight who. No predictions," said Usyk.

Because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, there is a possibility that Usyk's upcoming fight with Chisora will be pushed back to a date in June. He's not been very active since 2018, due to injuries, and hopes the fight with Chisora stays on pace.

"I need to stay active. I need to box," Usyk said. "If your vocation is passive, it's not good. If you stay active, it's very good. This is my active vocation."
