Odlanier Solis Puts Monte Barrett Away in Two

At the WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, Odlanier Solis (15-0, 11KOs) stopped Monte Barrett (34-8, 20KOs) in two rounds.

After a slow start in the first, a huge left hook by Solis in the second sent Barrett down for nearly the full count. Solis jumped on Barrett and went after him around the ring. He continued to batter Barrett until he went down for a second time and the fight was stopped by the ref.
