The Roseland Ballroom — a historic concert venue in New York City that has also played host to several boxing cards — will close in April 2014, according to Billboard magazine.
Roseland Ballroom is located on 52nd Street in the borough of Manhattan. According to BoxRec.com, the ballroom has hosted 26 boxing cards, with 21 of them taking place since 2006. Several recognizable names have performed there, with the most notable fights being the first war between Pawel Wolak and Delvin Rodriguez, and a 115-pound title fight between Dmitry Kirilov and Cecilio Santos in 2008.
