Another fight, another win for Norberto Jimenez.

The junior bantamweight contender defeated Renson Robles by decision over 10 rounds late Saturday night at the Club el Millon in Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic.

The fight was a rematch of their July 2016 clash, when Jimenez dropped Robles twice en route to a one-sided decision.

Jimenez controlled most of the action, landing the more effective punches throughout the fight. The 27-year-old Jimenez dropped Robles in round six, but was not able to finish him off.

Scores were 99-91, 99-91, and 100-90 for Jimenez, who improves to 29-8-4, 16 knockouts.

Jimenez is ranked number two by the WBA and number eight by the WBC. He began his pro career losing six of his first seven bouts.

Robles, who hails La Victoria, Venezuela, has lost his last two bouts and falls to 12-4, 6 KOs.

Fringe junior welterweight contender Mario Beltre survived a second round knockdown to defeat Francisco Aguero (13-4, 9 KOs) by unanimous decision over eight rounds. Beltre dropped Aguero twice in round one to improve to 27-1, 24 KOs.

Hard-hitting junior featherweight William Encarnacion (17-0, 14 KOs) won a 10 round unanimous decision over fringe contender Elicer Aquino (19-3-1, 13 KOs).

Junior welterweight Yomar Medina (21-0, 18 KOs) remained unbeaten, stopping Mario Beltre (17-5, 12 KOs) in the fourth round.
