Bantamweight Nonito Donaire addressed BoxingScene.com as he headed to the locker room after his four round destruction of ex-champion Wladimir Sidorenko at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California on Saturday night.
"This was my best performance by far. My fight versus (Vic) Dsarchinyan was one punch. This was a complete performance," Donaire told BoxingScene.com.
Donaire's trainer Robert Garcia agreed with his pupil. "Donaire was great. He was the whole package. It was balance footwork and power."
Donaire finished up by saying he has WBC/WBO batamweight champ Fernando Montiel in is sights. "I needed this fight. Now I am ready for Montiel!"
Montiel-Donaire is set for February 19 on HBO.
