According to a report in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, there is no official on word on who Jermain Taylor will name as his trainer for the rematch with WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik.

For his last four bouts, Taylor has used the services of Emanuel Steward. Should he get the nod from Team Taylor, Steward told the paper he will bring Taylor to a joint training camp with IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, to be held in Florida.

“I don’t know what the situation is going to be,” Steward said. “That’s going to be their choice. But Jermain and Ozell (Nelson) asked me [who Taylor should fight next ] and I said go for immediate rematch. I think he’s grown. He accepts what has happened. This is a fortunate for Jermain. He can come right back. The mistakes that were made won’t happen again."
