British Heavyweight Danny Williams told the IC SouthLondon that his recent loss to rival Matt Skelton last Saturday at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, is not going to make him retire. Williams feels that he is not done yet, and plans to continue fighting.

"I have not even thought about quitting boxing. Although this was a massively disappointing loss. I'm hurting right now, but I won't make any rash decisions. I'll sit down with my promoter Frank Warren and will see what's the best way back from this," Williams said.

Williams is hoping to make a speedy return and eventually land a trilogy bout with Skelton to get revenge. He gave up a world title shot to face Skelton, and feels that his rival should do the same for him.

The biggest problem for Williams was his lack of conditioning for the fight as he came to ring overweight and physically unprepared to fight hard for twelve rounds. Williams admitted that he was out of shape and the extra weight bothered him in the first half of the fight.

"But I will be back. Maybe it'll be for a third and deciding fight with Skelton. That's what I want. I gave up a world title shot to give him a rematch - he should do the same now. Frank Warren has indicated that it might be a fight that he can make -and the public interest would be there. After two fights that went the distance, we need a third to settle who's the best, once and for all."
