Michael Acri Boxing Promotions Inc. in association with Budweiser presents the 23rd Annual Erie Boxing Classic Wednesday November 21, 2007 at the Avalon Hotel. The show begins at 8:00 PM.
Headlining this show is will be Akron, Ohio Heavyweight Nicolai Firtha 11-4-1 in a ten round bout, against an opponent to be determined. Firtha was a 2004 Olympic Quarter Finalist. Firtha had a 65-22 amateur record including international competition, and was rated as high as #3 in the US Heavyweight amateur ranks. Promoter Acri states” Nick Firtha is a big Heavyweight, who has been involved in exciting fights in his career.”
“ That’s why we are using him as the main event.”
The undercard will feature Erie Heavyweight Rocky Mullooly 2-0, Dunkirk, NY Jr. Lightweight Guillermo Sanchez 1-0, Cleveland, Ohio’s Light Heavyweight Omari Braxton 2-0 plus two other bouts will be made to complete the card.
Ticket prices are: Golden Ringside - $40.00, Ringside - $30.00 and General Admission -$20.00. Tickets go on sale on Friday October 26th.
