Rogelio Espiño, Manager of Panamanian Luis "Nica" Concepcion, says his charge is only three pounds shy of the division limit, with plenty of time still left before first bell.
“Nica” is in superb condition, having developed an amazing physical and technical work schedule and ethic for this fight. He is ready to conquer the WBC title,” Espiño insisted.
To make this come to pass, Nica is currently training in La Chorrera, Panama, under the led of trainers Francisco Arroyo and Juan Mosquera, and physical trainer Samuel Lastra.
Concerning the venue that will host the title bout against champion Carlos Cuadras, Espiño commented that he is still waiting for Promociones del Pueblo's confirmation.
“Even though we still don’t know where the bout is going to be, “Nica” keeps working all aspects to be able fight tough anywhere” commented Panamanian promoter. The bout will be on April 4th .
