Finnish Caramelito Promotions have staged 19 shows since February 09 promoting smaller shows on the countryside as well as bigger events. On July 13 in Kemi have the Finnish Butterbean, heavyweight Janne Katajisto, 14-1-1, reigning national and BBU champ and cruiser Janne Forsman, 10-0, keeping busy in four rounders against Sandor Balogh and Viktor Szalai respectively.
On September 14 Caramelito will promote a show in Seinajoki with undefeated middleweight Fitim Latifi, 6-0, taking on 40+ veteran Kai Kauramaki, 18-18, in an eight-rounder with the BBU title at stake. Latifi is trained and co-managed by Kalle Helenius, who is father of famed heavyweight Robert.
Late November in Hamina cruiserweight Janne Forsman headlines and Caramelito claims to have offered Roy Jones Jr, the biggest purse they ever offered anyone but Jones Jr. turned it down. On the bill Fitim Latifi will challenge national champ Timo Laine, 8-2, over ten rounds.
