Brandon Moore and DeAndre Savage made it official for their heavyweight bout Friday night at the Fox Theatre in Detroit.
Moore tipped the scales at 236.4 lbs, while Savage outweighed him by nearly 60 pounds, coming in at 293.4lbs.
Moore, 18-1 (10 KOs), signed with Salita Promotions in January and is riding a four-fight win streak since his loss to Richard Torrez Jnr. Moore, a 31-year-old from Lakeland, Florida, has defeated two undefeated opponents this year. Savage, 10-0 (10 KOs) from nearby Flint, Michigan, enters the contest 27lbs heavier than his last fight, a second-round knockout of Eduardo Santana in January.
The co-feature will crown a WBC and WBA middleweight titleholder as Chicago’s Olivia Curry hit the scales at 158.6lbs. She faces Kaye Scott, a decorated Australian amateur, who weighed in at 158.8lbs. Curry, 35, enters the bout at 7-2-1 (2 KOs), and is coming off an April draw to Melody Popravak. Scott, 41, is coming off a loss to Desley Robinson in December for the vacant IBF middleweight title, which blemished her record to 4-1.
The bout will stream on DAZN.
