IBO welterweight champion Lovemore Ndou (47-11, 31KOs) is losing it. Rather than pay full attention on Friday's defense against Matthew Hatton (37-4, 14KOs), the veteran is more concerned with landing a fight with older brother Ricky Hatton. Ricky has more or less been retired since the May knockout loss to Manny Pacquiao. The bout takes place in Hatton's backyard at the Fenton Manor Sports Complex in Stoke. Ndou says a win over Matthew will get him the fight with Ricky.

“When I beat his brother, Ricky Hatton will have to fight me,” Ndou said to boxing scribe Ray Wheatley. “There has already been a suggestion that the fight can be held in South Africa before the 2010 World Cup. That would be a huge fight and a whole new platform in terms of world wide recognition.”

Ndou has promised to punish and expose the younger Matthew. He told Wheatley doesn't even think Matthew should be in the same ring as him.

“If you are running a stable of racehorses and you have a donkey in the stable,” explained Ndou, “when you put him in a race with real racehorses, that is when he will be exposed. I can say the same thing about Matthew Hatton. He has been hanging around with his brother and all of sudden he thinks he is a great fighter. Come November 13, I am going to expose him and make him realise he is just a donkey. He doesn’t belong in the same ring as me.”
