Scotland’s Nathaniel Collins and Cristobal Lorente, of Spain and the defending EBU featherweight champion, on Friday afternoon made weight ahead of their title fight on Saturday evening at the Braehead Arena in Glasgow, Scotland.
Collins and Lorente, both 29 years old, were both 125.1lbs on the scales. Lorente won his title with victory over Mauro Forte in July 2024; he has since defended it against Francesco Grandelli and Ruben Gil, but the fight with Gil, in July 2025, was scored a split draw. Their contest on Saturday also represents a final eliminator for the WBC title held by Stephen Fulton.
Fulton, incidentally, defends his title against O’Shaquie Foster at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena on October 25.
