Ian Napa gained a measure of revenge by winning a clear unanimous decision over Martin Power to retain his British bantamweight title at York Hall in London. Power won a controversial split-decision over Napa two-years ago. Napa making the second defense of the vacant title he won by beating Jason Booth earlier in the year.

Napa outhustled Power in the fight with accurate punching. Power was not on his game, unable to get off with his punches or properly execute his combinations. Already aware the fight was won, Napa decided to make it a slugfest in the twelfth and final round, standing toe-to-toe with Power.

The scores were 117-111, 117-111 and 117-112.

"I felt I proved a point - toe-to-toe and technically... I feel it's time to move on and prove to the British public how good I can be. I have a lot of people to thank - my life out of the ring was not what it should have been but they've got me back on the right track," Napa told Skysports.
