Hall of Fame trainer Nacho Beristain is picking Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (45-1-1, 32KOs) to overtake WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (40-4, 33KOs) of Puerto Rico on November 21st at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Canelo is seen as the favorite in the contest, despite that fact that Cotto knocked out his last three opponents in style. Canelo has stopped two of his last three, but had issues during last July's fight with WBA 'regular' junior middleweight champion Erislandy Lara.

"The impression I get is the style Canelo will adapt well to Cotto and that he will win. Canelo is a strong, great fighter for the division despite what others say. He is a very strong young man who also has fast hands," Nacho told ESPN Deportes.

Nacho warns that it won't be easy. He expects some very tough resistance from the Puerto Rican veteran.

"Cotto is a complete fighter, very good, motivated and eager to get a return fight with Floyd Mayweather, so he will give everything to win," Nacho said.
