Former unified Super WBA/IBF cruiserweight champion Murat Gassiev (27-1, 20 KOs) made his long-awaited heavyweight debut, and it was a very short one.
It took Murat just 107 seconds into the first round to completely vaporize Nuri "The Albanian Tyson" Seferi in his first outing in well over two years.
The 43-year old Seferi came in as a late-late sub for his younger brother Sefer, and Kevin Johnson before that. On the other hand, he was stopped just once before (on a rib injury), despite battling some very hard-hitting standouts like Herbie Hide, Krzysztof Glowacki, Marko Huck and Firat Arslan. Tonight it was very quick.
