Dignity Health Sports Park, Carson, California - For the WBC and vacant WBO super middleweight titles, Franchon Crews Dezurn (6-1, 2 KOs) became a unified champion with a ten round unanimous decision over Maricela Cornejo (13-4, 5 KOs).
The scores were 98-92, 98-92, 97-93.
Crews was too busy, outworking Cornejo round after round in the contest.
Lightweight Romero Duno (21-1, 16 KOs) broke down a physically tired Ivan Delgado (13-3-2), who came in four pounds overweight on Friday and appeared to be very tired from the start.
Delgado tried to rally in the fifth and sixth rounds, but he was physically spent by the sevent and then stayed on the stool when the seventh ended.
In a lightweight fight, Rafael Gramajo (11-2-2, 3 KOs) broke down and stopped Daniel Olea (13-9) in four rounds.
Alejandro Reyes (1-0, 1 KO) made his pro debut with a second round knockout of Jorge Padron (3-5), who went down for the count from a body shot.
Hot Mexican prospect Joselito Velazquez (11-0, 9 KOs), who is trained by Hall of Famer Freddie Roach, beat down Francisco Bonilla (6-7-3) for a fourth round stoppage.
Velazquez controlled the first round. He dropped Bonilla with a heavy left hook in the second round. Bonilla beat the count and then took punishment for the remainder of the round.
Then in the fourth, he pinned Bonilla against the ropes and unloaded with punches for a second knockdown and the fight was waved off.
This was the fourth fight of the year for Velazquez.
Super middleweight prospect Diego Pacheco (6-0, 5 KOs) battered and stopped previously unbeaten Terry Fernandez (3-1) in the third round.
Pacheco was unloading with big punches until the referee jumped in to wave off the fight.
