The March 7 bout between Australian fighters Anthony Mundine and Sam Soliman is heating up. Mundine tells Australian publication, The Age, that Soliman has been jealous of his success for quite some tome time, and vowed to brutally punish his rival when they meet at the Sydney Entertainment Centre for the vacant WBA super middleweight title.

Mundine claims that Soliman has helped several of his past opponents out, and would cheer them on in the stands when they fought him. He told the paper that Soliman helped past opponents like Mikkel Kessler, Danny Green, Sven Otke and even contacted Manny Siacca to offer help on beating him.

"Who would do that if they're not jealous or envious, and wanted to be you? But that's just the way he is. He helped Kessler, he helped Otke — he was in the stands telling Otke what to do in between rounds — and he helped Danny Green. He tries to help everyone that he can in order for me to get beat. He rang up Manny Siacca trying to help him out," Mundine said.

According to Mundine, the only person Soliman has to help now - is himself. The two fighters met in the ring five years ago, with Mundine walking away with a close decision win. Since that time, the two men have exchanged personal insults in the Australian media on several occassions.

"Well now he's got the opportunity to fight me and he's not going to be talking to anybody, he's not going to be helping anybody. He's coming to see me personally and I'm going to deal with him the way I want to deal with him. That's in my heart and I'm going to let that out on the night and tell him about it."
