Following his four round stoopage of Argentina's Ruben Acosta in Newcastle on Wednesday night, Anthony Mundine confirmed that his next bout will fall in March, for the vacant WBA super middleweight title. He is still trying to figure out if former champion Jeff Lacy or rival Sam Soliman will be the opponent for fight.

Lacy returns to the ring on the undercard of Winky Wright-Ike Quartey on December 2. Soliman has been calling Mundine out in the last couple of days, saying that the man known as Black Superman, does not have the "balls" to face him. Mundine told the AAP  that he will face whoever the WBA mandates as his opponent, but he would rather not face Soliman because of his style.

"If it is Soliman, it's not going to be a very nice affair but we have got to do what the WBA say and if they want Soliman they'll get Soliman," Mundine said. "I don't particularly want to fight him because he is awkward when he fights, but if that's what people want that's what I'll give. I have never ducked or dodged no one and I'm not going to start now.

"If Lacy comes, whatever, I don't really care. I'm willing to fight (Mikkel) Kessler, I'm willing to fight (Joe) Calzaghe and willing to fight Winky Wright and Jermain Taylor. Spiderman, Batman, Superman, whoever they want me to fight, I'll fight them too if they want me to."
