Anthony Mundine (44-5, 26KOs), 38-years-old, is still focused on landing a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26KOs). Mundine wants to retire in two years, with four fights mapped out, and wants one of them to be Mayweather. Before anything, he has to get past three division world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley (47-8-1, 39KOs). Mundine is talking to rapper/promoter 50 Cent about bringing him back to the United States.
"My exit strategy is to try and get to Floyd Mayweather within those four fights. I've got plenty of time. All I need to do is get past Mosley. If I do that, I know there will be massive offers," Mundine told the Brisbane Times.
"50 Cent has already spoken about future events. But I have to get past Mosley and that's all I'm worried about. I'm at a stage in my career where it's kill or be killed for me. It's like a sudden death footy final. I know if I don't get up and perform I'm out the door. And I don't want that to happen. I still have big dreams and I know I can match it with the best in the world."
