PFN TO WEBCAST - Mrdjenovich/Raika Clash For WBC Super Featherweight Title
Japan’s Emiko Raika and Canada’s Jelena Mrdjenovich meet April 13 at the Shaw Conference in Edmonton, Alberta to battle for the WBC Super Featherweight crown and Prize Fight Network will webcast the event exclusively on a delayed basis beginning April 17.
Mrdjenovich, ( 19-2-11 KO’s) is ranked #5 in the world and is the current WBC champion, with Raika, (16-1-2, 6 KO’s) ranked #2 by the WBC, the mandatory challenger. Mrdjenovich faces Raika after winning an 8 round decision over Belinda Laracuente in February. Raika’s last outing was a 10 round victory against Terri Blair in December 2006.
