Mosley vs Berto Talks Will Be Revisited in NY

BoxingScene.com was advised that Richard Schaefer, CEO for Golden Boy Promotions, will be flying in to New York this week to sit down with Lou DiBella, and HBO, and hopefully come to terms for a welterweight unification between WBA champion Shane Mosley and WBC champion Andre Berto for early December. Schaefer and DiBella tried to make the fight a few weeks ago but the offer to Berto was no more than the fighter had previously made for lesser opponents, like Collazo and Urango.

This time the main concern is whether HBO will have enough money left in their budget to make the fight happen in what may be the final televised date of 2009.
