Former three-division champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley is ending his nearly two year retirement to face Ricardo Mayorga on August 29th. Mosley said that he is looking for rematches against some of the top names in the sport and leave the upcoming stars to his protege Shawn Porter.
"I don't really want to come back and beat up kids and stuff. I will let them have their day. Shawn Porter like I said can get his shot and fight them. I want to fight the guys from my day. Cotto is still out there. Pacquiao and Mayweather too," said Mosley.
As for Mayweather, Mosley couldn't help but shake his head at the though of the pound-for-pound king facing Andre Berto. Mosley feels that not only would he give Mayweather a better fight, but that he would also sell more pay-per-views.
"Floyd is fighting Berto. I don't know about that. I would sell a lot more pay-per-views than Berto and it is a lot more dangerous fight for Floyd because I know how to hit you. I am not going to go in there intimidated and afraid because you are Mayweather or a Pacquiao or whoever you are. I have been there and done that," Mosley told BoxingScene.com.
