The beef between the Morris twins and the Jokic brothers may be heading from the hardwood to the boxing ring.

Markieff and Marcus Morris recently appeared on The Big Podcast with Shaquille O'Neal and expressed interest in a celebrity boxing match against the Jokic brothers. The tension dates back to a heated 2021 NBA game, when Markieff was shoved in the back by Nikola Jokic, resulting in a whiplash injury that sidelined him for 58 games.

"Imagine having a 300-pound sloppy fat boy run full speed and make direct contact with your spine!" Markieff tweeted months after the incident.

Now, the twins are seemingly ready to settle it with gloves.

“The bigger they are, the harder they fall,” Markieff said. “We big too.”

For their part, the Jokic brothers aren’t small talk. Nemanja briefly competed as an MMA fighter in 2018, winning all three of his bouts by knockout. Strahinja is also an imposing presence who’s become known to NBA fans for his fiery courtside demeanor.

Shaq chimed in with his pick, saying, “I’m going with the Philly boys,” in support of the Morris twins.

Whether this ever turns into a sanctioned celebrity match or just more internet chatter, one thing’s clear: bad blood still boils between these two families.
