Former champion Eric Morel (44-2, 22KOs) began training on Monday for a possible title shot in June or July against Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno (30-1, 10KOs), the current 118-pound champion of the WBA, according to Morel's father and coach, Cyril.
"We started training for a possible fight in either late June or early July and that fight may be for the title of Moreno and then we want to unify with Nonito Donaire who has two belts," Cyril said from Madison, Wisconsin. "Eric is sure that he can beat Moreno and then face Donaire for his two belts."
