The World Boxing Association has ordered WBA bantamweight champion Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno (34-2-1, 12KOs) of Panama to make a mandatory title defense against Dominican challenger Juan Carlos Payano (14-0, 8KOs).

Also, they ordered Costa Rican boxer Bryan Vasquez (32-1, 17KOs) and Javier Fortuna (23-0-1, 17KOs) to battle for the WBA's interim super featherweight title. Vasquez captured the belt in October with a technical decision over Rene Gonzalez.

It was reported previously on BoxingScene.com that promoter Sampson Lewkowicz was planning to stage a Moreno/Fortuna doubleheader on March 15th in Panama.
