Former WBC junior middleweight champion Sergio Mora is pushing to get a second crack at Daniel Jacobs, who holds the WBA's regular championship at middleweight.

Last night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, fans witnessed unexpected fireworks in the fight between Jacobs and Mora.

Jacobs got off to quick start and dropped Mora down hard, but then a moment later the 'Latin Snake' returned fire with a big hook to the chin and scored a knockdown of his own.

They entered the second round swinging, with Mora going down for a second time. He fractured his right ankle upon during the knockdown and the fight was ruled a TKO victory for Jacobs when Mora was unable to continue.

Mora wants a rematch and hopes their adviser, Al Haymon, makes it in the near future.

"Fans in Brooklyn keep asking me what I told Daniel Jacobs when he went down. I said, 'now what, motherf***er!' Let's make this rematch happen. I'm a twelve round fighter and we had ten more rounds to go. If he's celebrating this win, it's because he was relieved that it was over. I want and deserve a rematch," Mora said.
