TOKYO, JAPAN - Relying on his excellent preparation, Triple World Champion Fernando Montiel said that he will not have any problems for his upcoming fight against the WBC bantamweight champion Hozumi Hasegawa on April 30 in the legendary Nippon Budokan in Tokyo. Montiel stayed disciplined with a variety of exercises presented by his manager and father, Don Manuel Montiel, who will work his corner along with Fernando's brothers Manuel Jr., Eduardo and Peter Montiel.

"I'm getting adjusted after spending 12 days here in Japan. I will not have problems
with the weight. I feel strong and fast, Hozumi not be able to beat me," Montiel said. "We're just doing exercises ease to reach the weight, which we are going to make without any problem."

"We're going all or nothing because we know the difficulty of winning a points decision in Japan, but we are confident by the presence of Mauricio Sulaiman of the WBC. But we will give everything in the ring and bring the green belt for Mexico," said Montiel.

Montiel is no stranger to overseas combat. He previously traveled to the United States, the Philippines and Germany.
