WBO/WBC bantamweight champion Fernando Montiel is getting some good sparring by using the undefeated prospect Tomoki "Mexicanito" Kameda (17-0, 12KOs). Montiel is preparing for the big fight with Nonito Donaire on February 19 in Las Vegas. Tomoki is the youngest of the fighting Kameda brothers. He's a big super bantamweight with decent power. Montiel obviously using him to prepare for Donaire's larger frame.
Tomoki might also fight on a card in Mexico on the same day, with opponent Daniel Diaz. Manager Eddy Reynoso is trying to get an international WBC title in the fight. The fight will happen in Mazatlan or Puerto Vallarta.
