Pro boxing returns to the San Gabriel Valley area of Southern California tonight.
All Star Boxing Promotions presents an eight-bout 'Battle of the Rising Stars' card at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello, Calif.
In the six round main event, featherweight Xavier Montelongo (7-3-1, 2 KOs) will fight Cesar Martinez (4-4-2, 1 KO).
In his last bout on March 27, Montelongo defeated Jesus Sandoval by majority decision over six rounds. Martinez is winless in his last five bouts and was knocked out by Daniel Franco in the fifth round on December 6th.
Junior welterweight Eddie De La Huerta (1-0, 1 KO) will fight Rick Quevedo (1-2) in a four round bout. Welterweight Edgar Nava (1-0, 1 KO) will square off against Rasheed Lawal (1-1-1) in another four round bout.
Brahmavigi Montgomery (1-0, 1 KO) battles Jesus Sanchez (1-0-1) in a four round clash of unbeaten junior welterweights.
Four more bouts round out the card.
