Monterrey, Mexico: For Julio Cesar Miranda, better known as "Pingo", 2010 has een a dream year and he go for another triumph before the end of year in a place that he's very excited to fight in, Monterrey. He will defend his flyweight title of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) against Colombian Michael Arango as part of the Tecate Boxing Tour in the parking lot at the baseball stadium in Monterrey. Miranda will headline an exciting evening of boxing being staged by Zanfer Promotions and will air on TV Azteca in all of Mexico, and on Fox Sports to all parts of the United States and Latin America.
"I'm excited to fight again at home, when I knew I was going to defend in Monterrey again. I was happy because the first time I did was nice. Now I want to pay that love back with another win and what better than by knockout," Miranda said.
He will defend his belt for the second time this year. In the opposite corner is Arango, who will try to collect a measure of revenge for a past loss on Mexican soil to Jalisco fighter Manuel Vargas.
