Four months after his hard fought decision loss to Luan Krasniqi in Germany, the entertaining heavyweight Brian Minto 27-2 (16 KO’s) is set to step back in the ring July 27th at the Mountaineer Race Track in Chester, WV in a scheduled eight round bout against the Arkansas born boxer Ray Lunsford 19-7-2 (7 KO’s).
Minto, who last seen action this past March losing out a hard fought unanimous decision to the long time heavyweight contender Luan Krasniqi looks back on the bout and credits it as a learning process, but the Butler born boxer is eager to get back in action, “I’m just learning as I go,” states Brian, “I am just ready to get back in the ring and reach my goal.”
Lunsford is a fourteen-year veteran who has seen action against the like of Tye Fields and undefeated heavyweight JD Chapman. His last outing was against Danny Wofford, where Lunsford was credited the win via disqualification when Wofford continued to hold.
