WBC Int´l welterweight champ Alpaslan Aguzum defends the title on the undercard to the big Virgil Hill vs. Henry Maske show in Munich on March 31. Heavyweight Steffen Kretschmann, like Alpaslan, is promoted by Arena Box Promotion and will also appear on the bill.

WBA and WBC super middleweight champ Mikkel Kessler has now begun training for the showdown against Líbrado Andrade on March 24 in Copenhagen. Kessler did 160 rounds of sparring over six weeks for the Beyer fight last year but will do less now - and that´s probably a wise decision. The March 24 show goes ahead at the Parken Arena, a huge 40,000+ seater, but for this event be the arena will be cut down to a 25,000 seater.

There will be six widescreens in the venue so fans also can catch the soccer game between Spain and Denmark the very same night. HBO are likely to televise the fight and promoter Hans Henrik Palm of Palm Promotions are currently in negotiations about the terms.

It will now be American Tiffany Carter that takes on Aasa Sandell on New Sweden´s promotion in Gothenburg on Saturday. Carter, 4-0 but inactive since 2001, is hopefully a lot better than the original opponent, Scroller Carrington. Also added to the show is Romanian jr. lightweight prospect Viorel Simion, who takes on German Bihes Barakat.
