In a recent televsion interview with former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, the once man once called "the baddest man on the planet" said that he is tired of always apologizing for things he has done in the past.

World Entertainment News Network reported that Tyson stated to interviewer Donnie Deutsch that does not understand why some of his critics will not allow him to move on with his life, and let his exhibition world tour move forward without the constant mentions of events from his past.

"If I hit somebody, I'm sorry, if I cursed (at) someone, I'm sorry if I did anything, but I'm not gonna spend the rest of my life apologizing to everyone," Tyson said. "Whatever happened happened in the past, so what is it I should do? You should take a survey for all these people that say... 'He's a bum, he's this.' What should I do? Should I just kill myself, should I shovel dog manure? What do they think I should really do? Should I repent? Should I go to a monastery (and) become a monk?"

Tyson said that he will aplogize for anything he has done in the past, but will never aplogize for his 1992 rape conviction, which landed him in prison for three years - because he was wrongly convicted. Even some of Tyson's harshest critics felt he was innocent of the crime.

"I didn't do that. I got railroaded. I'm never going to apologize for something that I never did."
