As previously reported, heavyweight Tom Schwarz (16-0) will defend the WBO Youth title against an opponent to be announced June 4 on an SES promotion in Magdeburg.
Also on the bill is WBO Euro heavyweight champ Michael Wallisch (16-0) defending the title against an opponent to be determined, and Agit Kabayel (14-0) will see action. Kabayel, SES´ latest signing, is co-challenger for the vacant EU heavyweight title along with fellow German Christian Lewandowski (9-0). There are purse bids for this fight May 9 and if SES wins Kabayel vs Lewandowski may end up on this bill.
Fresh off his major upset win over previously undefeated 18-0-1 Pole Krzysztof Zimnoch, American heavyweight veteran Mike Mollo (21-5-1, 13 KOs) will venture further to the East, as he is now scheduled to take on durable Ukrainian Andrey Rudenko (27-2, 18 KOs) on May 6 in a naval port of Odessa, Ukraine.
Mollo, 36, will fight for the second time this year, following two and a half years off the ring, which in turn followed his spirited losses to Artur Szpilka in 2013. Rudenko, is 3-0, 2 KOs, since losing back-to-back fights to Lucas Browne and Hughie Fury in 2014/2015. The show is promoted by Victoria Olshana of Sparta Boxing Promotions.
In another notable fight, undefeated Ukrainians Andrey Velikovskiy (6-0, 2 KOs) and Eduard Skavinskiy (3-0, 1 KO) will clash for a vacant Ukrainian light middleweight title. Also on the card are local Armenians Karen Chukhadjan (5-1, 1 KO) and Aram Fanian (5-0) in separate tune-up fights.
