Mike Lee Returns in Laredo: Top Rank Live, August 14

Notre Dame champion Mike Lee returns to action on a Top Rank Live! fight card on August 14 at the Laredo Energy Center in Texas.

Lee, 22, is a Notre Dame graduate, majoring in finance. He is presently in Houston, training with Ronnie Shields.

Lee said "boxing is my passion. If I hadn't gone for this, I would have regretted it and been wondering what have been."

Bob Arum made the announcement today, saying "....Mike Lee is bringing a new fan base into the sport of boxing."

Lee will take on Keith Debow of St. Louis in a four round bout in the light-heavyweight division. This will be Lee's second pro bout. On May 29 in his pro debut, Lee scored a four-round unaminous decision - 40-36 on all three scorecards - over Emmitt Woods in Chicago.
