Undefeated welterweight contender Mike Jones (22-0, 18KOs) won't be accepting an overseas offer to fight rising British star Kell Brook (22-0, 15KOs) for the interim-WBO title in December. Brook's promoter, Frank Warren, reached out to Top Rank with an offer for a December fight. According to Jones' promoter, Russell Peltz, the Philadelphia boxer will proceed with his fight against Jesus Soto Karass, which takes place on the pay-per-view undercard to Manny Pacquiao-Antonio Margarito at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium.

The exposure connected with the Pacquiao-Margarito undercard spot is too good to pass up, but Peltz is willing to listen if the offer to fight Brook is above and beyond in the financial department.

"I sent [Top Rank Promotions Vice President] Carl Moretti an e-mail today and said, 'Listen, we're fighting in Dallas, because I could have made this fight on my own, and they've been calling me on this fight [with Brook] for a month,'" said Peltz.

"I mean, it would have made sense at the time, but with a chance to fight in Dallas, it doesn't really make sense. Unless the finances are through the cieling for a fight with Brook, we're fighting in Dallas. I mean, how much through the cieling are they going to be?"
