Junior welterweight contender Mike Arnaoutis (21-3-2, 10 KOs) was once on the verge of winning a world title, now he's trying to fight his way back to being considered as a serious force at the weight. In March, he was stopped in two rounds by hot prospect Victor Ortiz. He knews it was time for some changes.

"Bill Johnson is a great trainer and I wanted to work with him again," Arnaoutis said. "I've left him twice and twice I lost. I do much better when he's in my corner."

Arnaoutis also told the paper that he broke away from promoter Joe DeGuardia of Star Boxing. While he claims to have signed with Bob Arum's Top Rank, a rep for the promotional company denies that any deal exists with Arnaoutis. His first fight back will be on June 25 at the Schuetzen Park in North Bergen, New Jersey. The opponent has not been set.
