The tension is getting deeper for the Mexican-grudge match this coming Saturday at the Palenque de la Feria in Durango, Mexico. Francisco Arce will look to avenge his the honor of his family by beating Cristian Mijares, who dominated Fransciso's older brother Jorge Arce in April 2007 in San Antonio, Texas.
Mijares (38-6-2, 17 KOs) and Arce (30-5-2, 21 KOs) will take part in a twelve round fight and a top WBC ranking will be at stake. Mijares says he doesn't care what he has to do, he plans to leave the ring with a win.
"By knockout or by decision, it doesn't matter how but I'm going to leave with the victory against Arce, which I can say with confidence based on the preparation that I have done in training camp," Mijares said.
"As I said, I expect a tough fight because Panchito is like his brother Jorge, where he comes to fight and wants to leave the fans satisfied. But make no mistake about it, I'm going out with the victory."
