HATILLO, PUERTO RICO- Unbeatens Miguel “Mikito” Soto, Angel “Pito” Fret and once-beaten prospect Osenohan “Cano” Vazquez won their bouts on the latest edition of the popular series "A Puño Limpio," which took place at the Francisco "Pancho" Deida coliseum in Hatillo, Puerto Rico.
In the main event, Mikito Soto (10-0, 10 KOs) stopped Leopoldo Gonzalez (12-6-1, 7 KOs) in the first of a six round 130 pound contest. Gonzalez went down three times before the fight was stopped.
In another six round fight, at super bantamweight, Pito Fret (14-0, 10 KOs) stopped Eduardo Melendez (4-10, 1 KOs) in the fourth round. Melendez went down in the third and the fourth.
In a junior welterweight six rounder, Cano Vazquez (7-1, 2 KOs) won a unanimous decision over Tommy Bryant (2-7-2). The scores were 60-54, 60-54 and 59-55.
